Art Across the World & Ages

Hi, I’m Laura, an artist, educator, and plant lover who finds so much joy in the in-between moments: paint on fingertips, herbs steeping on the stove, stories shared over cups of tea. I hold a BFA in Art & Design and have spent the past several years guiding both children and adults through creative experiences that feel meaningful, playful, and rooted in the rhythms of the seasons.

My connection to plants and creativity runs deep, shaped by years of study, hands-on practice, and a love for the slow, intentional ways we can tend to ourselves and one another. Whether through a brushstroke, a tea blend, or a quiet pause in the day, I believe in making space for beauty, curiosity, and connection.

My teaching is intuitive and gently guided, with an emphasis on process over perfection. I strive to create a space where everyone, whether child or adult, feels safe to explore, make bold choices, and know that there are no mistakes in art.

At the heart of my work and of Rosewood Studios is a simple hope: to help others remember their own creative nature and to offer soulful, grounded spaces where art, earth, and self-discovery gently meet.
